Vata is suggested by a naturally thin build, dry skin and hair, variable digestion, light sleep, creative and quick-moving thinking, and a tendency toward anxiety under stress. Pitta is suggested by medium build, strong digestion, moderate sleep, focus and precision in thinking, and irritability under stress. Kapha is suggested by larger or sturdy build, smooth oily skin, slow but steady digestion, deep heavy sleep, and patience.
Most people are bi-doshic with two doshas prominent. The purpose of knowing your dosha is to understand your baseline and recognise when you are moving away from it.
